George Franklin

George Franklin

is the author of two poetry collections: Traveling for No Good Reason (Sheila-Na-Gig Editions 2018) and a bilingual collection, Among the Ruins / Entre las ruinas, translated by Ximena Gómez (Katakana Editores 2018) and a broadside from Broadsided Press (2019). He received his MFA in Poetry from Columbia University and his PhD in English and American Literature from Brandeis University, and his co-translations with Ximena Gómez of her poems have appeared in Cagibi, Sheila-Na-Gig, Cigar City Poetry Journal, Two Chairs, and The Laurel Review.
