Luis Benítez

was born in Buenos Aires on the 10th of November 1956. He is a member of the Academia Iberoamericana de Poesía, New York Chapter, USA, with its seat at the Columbia University; of the International Society of Writers (USA), of the World Poets Society (Greece) and of the Advisory Board of Poetry Press (India). He has received the title of Compagnon de la Poèsie de la Association La Porte des Poètes, with a seat at the Université de La Sorbonne, Paris, France. He is a member of the Sociedad de Escritoras y Escritores de Argentina (SEA), the Asociación de Poetas Argentinos (APOA) and the Argentinian PEN Club. His 36 books of poetry, essays and narratives have been published in Argentina, Chile, France, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Venezuela, United Kigdom, United States of America and Uruguay.
